Stranger Things Season 5: All Episode Titles Revealed as Netflix Confirms 2025 Release

In honor of Stranger Things Day (November 6, or the day in 1983 that Will Byers went missing), Netflix has released some highly anticipated new details about season five.

The teaser that the streaming platform released on Wednesday (which you can watch here) didn’t include any footage, which may be a bit disappointing for some fans. But it did Reveal the names of all the season’s episodes and confirm a release date in 2025.

We already knew the name of the first episode, “The Crawl,” but the rest is new and offers a lot of speculation. It’s worth noting that the name in the title of the second episode, “The Vanishing of _____,” is blurred. Stranger Things fans will also remember that it’s a reference to the title of the series premiere, “The Vanishing of Will Byers.”

Stranger Things season 5 will officially premiere sometime in 2025.

All episode titles can be found below:

  • The Crawl
  • The disappearance of _______
  • The turnbow trap
  • wizard
  • Shock Jock
  • Escape from Camazotz
  • The bridge
  • The right side up

This number of eight episodes is consistent with previous seasons, which always consisted of eight or nine episodes. It doesn’t tell us exactly how long the season will last, as Season 4’s episodes were sometimes feature-length (including a supersized, two-and-a-half-hour-long finale). Previously, star Maya Hawke teased: “We’re basically doing eight films. The episodes are very long.”

Otherwise, the only other breadcrumbs we get from the teaser is a tagline: “In the fall of 1987, a final adventure begins.” But yeah, that’s it.

However, confirmation of a premiere date in 2025 is still pending something Relief, although not largely expected. Production on the fifth and final season finally began in January, following the resolution of last year’s writers’ and actors’ strikes. In March, star Millie Bobby Brown said filming would continue for nine months, meaning fans probably shouldn’t expect season five until around mid-2025. But we’ll have to wait for a more solid release window from Netflix.

What else we know about Season 5: Netflix previously announced that Terminator star Linda Hamilton would be joining the cast, while showrunners the Duffer brothers teased fans with some behind-the-scenes pictures. For more information, check out our review of the final two episodes of season four.
