Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) (NASDAQ: GOOG) is hosting its annual “Made By” event on Tuesday at 1 p.m. EST, where the tech giant is expected to unveil several new products, including a new smartphone, watches and more.

Based in Mountain View, California, Google has already publicly announced the new Pixel 9 Pro smartphone. Communicate to consumers it will be available. Images of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold have also been released.

Both phones are expected to come with artificial intelligence offerings via Gemini AI. Other expected updates include improved cameras, slightly adjusted sizes, and possibly satellite connectivity. Apple (AAPL) introduced satellite connectivity with its iPhone 14 lineup in September 2022, while Samsung (OTCPK:SSNLF) did so in early 2023.

Further announcements

In addition to the Pixel 9 series, Google is expected to unveil several other new products, including a new version of its Android operating system.

Android 15, which is currently in the fourth version of beta testing, is expected to offer more privacy protection, image search updates, and new camera features.

Other new products that could be announced include a new Pixel smartwatch and new versions of the Pixel Buds Pro headphones.

At last year’s event, Google presented the Pixel Watch 2.
