Thursday is Halloween, marking the end of spooky season before we head into the final days before the election.

As children across the country prepare to trick-or-treat, former President Donald Trump is expected to campaign in the Southwest on Thursday. He is scheduled to hold a midday rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and another rally later this afternoon in Henderson, Nevada, outside Las Vegas. Trump plans to cap off the day with an event in Glendale, Arizona, alongside Tucker Carlson.

According to a media release, his vice president, JD Vance, is heading to the college scene with Turning Point at a campus town hall event at High Point University in North Carolina.

Nicky Jam, a reggaeton star who previously supported Trump, withdrew his support after a comedian called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage” at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

The second man to walk on the moon, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, supported Trump.

In a new Economist/YouGov report Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris leads Trump by more than a percentage point, another sign of a close race.

During a rally in North Carolina, Trump condemned President Joe Biden’s comments after he called Trump supporters “trash.”

Trump also appeared at a rally in Wisconsin on Wednesday alongside former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.
