Alison Brie and Idina Menzel attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

Announced Friday, NBC is promising a star-studded program of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for its Nov. 28 broadcast, led by Alison Brie, Idina Menzel, Bishop Briggs and T-Pain.

Today Hosts Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker will be on hand to introduce New York City’s annual Thanksgiving Day holiday celebration.

Also making special appearances are Jimmy Fallon & The Roots, Kylie Cantrall, Lea Salonga, Jonathan Bennett, Liza Colón-Zayas, Tom Kenny, Ginna Claire Mason and members of the WNBA Champions, New York Liberty, with mascots in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Ellie the elephant.

In addition to the traditional high-flying inflatables, marching bands and floats, the NBC broadcast will also feature cast members from Broadway shows Death suits her, Hell’s Kitchen And The outsidersand the legendary Radio City Rockettes.

And this year there will be new character balloons at Disney Minnie Mouse; Extraordinary Noorah & The Elf on the Shelf by The Lumistella Company; Gabby from DreamWorks Animation; Goku from Dragon Ball/Toei Animation; Spin Master and Nickelodeon Marshall; And Spider-Man from Marvel.

The official NBC broadcast of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air live on November 28th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The show will be streamed on Peacock and there will be an encore presentation on the main channel in the afternoon. Last year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade drew nearly 30 million viewers on NBC, Peacock and a television encore.

“The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is unmatched when it comes to premier entertainment during the holiday season,” Jen Neal, executive vice president of live events and specials at NBCUniversal Media Group, said in a statement Friday.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast is produced by Silent House Productions, with Baz Halpin, Mark Bracco, Linda Gierahn as executive producers and Sacha Mueller as co-executive producer.
