All our biggest questions

For weeks, artists like Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza and Patti Lupone have captivated us Agatha all the timeThe Wonder TV series that feels the least like a Marvel TV series. It marches proudly to the beat of its own drum, and its surprise two-part finale is full of hilarious revelations.

The finale answers many of our longest-running questions of the series. However, there are still some key plot points that the series leaves in mind. Let’s dive into them and see what answers we can find.

(Warning: Spoilers ahead.)

Is Wanda Maximoff alive?

One of the biggest secrets bubbling beneath the surface is the status of the all-powerful Wanda Maximoff, better known as the Scarlet Witch. Wanda, Vision’s wife and mother of Billy and Tommy Maximoff, is one of the most powerful witches, if not the most powerful. She is the star of the Marvel series WandaVision (played by Elizabeth Olsen) and her death seemed to be confirmed in the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. But one thing we know about Marvel: Just because it looks like someone is dead doesn’t mean they really are. Despite being mentioned several times in Agatha all the timeWanda did not appear in the series, not even in the finale.

Surprisingly, despite all the teasing, Wanda never shows up Agatha all the time. That’s pretty encouraging – Marvel absolutely loves a cameo and a surprise appearance, and since there isn’t one here, the focus rightly remains on Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) and co. But Wanda’s absence means we still don’t know if she’s dead or if she’s just waiting for her to find the right body – or if she’s still intact somewhere. Watch out.

What is the Witch’s Way?

In one of the biggest revelations in the Agatha all the time In the finale, it wasn’t Agatha Harkness and her makeshift coven – it was Billy Maximoff aka Teen (Joe Locke) who conjured up the entire journey. He desperately wanted to believe the road was real so he could bring his brother back. There’s a masterful stage design in there Agatha all the timeespecially in Billy’s room, which is full of clues (and a Protect Trans Lives flag, which we love to see): Everything the group experienced was based on something within these four walls.

There was a lot of talk among the witches about the street and whether it was real or not, and Agatha was said to be the only witch who had ever been there. Turns out that was a lie. As the finale reveals, Agatha was essentially a con artist who tricked various witches into using the promise of the Path, which was supposed to grant a person’s wildest desires, to kill other witches and absorb all their energy to become all-powerful become.

But here’s the thing: Billy’s path actually brings redemption to Jen Kale (Sasheer Zamata) as she discovers that it was none other than Agatha who bound her and frees herself from the bondage that has held her back for 100 years has to use her powers. For Jen, who doesn’t discover that the road is just a conjuring of Billy’s imagination, the road is completely real and gives her exactly what she wants. So in a way, the path might be real after all – even if it only takes an amazingly powerful witch like Billy to find it.

Is Tommy alive?

Ever since Episode 6 revealed the truth about Billy Maximoff, the internet has been in a frenzy over the revelation. Billy is on the road because he wants to bring his brother Tommy back into the world, and his motivation was fueled by reuniting with his brother, albeit in a brand new body (just as Billy took over William’s body in the events of). Episode 6).

Frustratingly, at the end Agatha all the timeWe still don’t know where Tommy is. The events at the end of Episode 8 certainly suggest that Billy has managed to bring Tommy back to life, transferring his mind into the body of a boy who died in a prank gone terribly wrong. However, whether this was successful or not is a mystery. The season ends with Billy and Agatha (now a ghost) embarking on a search for Tommy, leaving his whereabouts and well-being – and most importantly, whether he is alive or not – a mystery.

Is this the last we’ve seen of Nicholas Scratch?

In the final of Agatha all the timewe can finally see Agatha’s son Nicholas Scratch. Although we note that he seemingly dies in his sleep of natural causes, there are many reasons to believe that we will see more of him in the future, be it in a second season of Agatha or elsewhere.

That’s because he has an extensive history in the Marvel comics. It was first published in 1977 Fantastic four Comics, where Nicholas has been a thorn in the side of the supergroup ever since. In the comics, he is an all-powerful warlock with powers such as teleportation, telepathy, and the creation of illusions. He may not be six years old when we next see him, but it would be foolish to assume that we’ll never see Scratch again. The MCU may have some big plans for him in the future.
