Megan Thee Stallion put a vibrant spin on one of 2024’s most popular red carpet trends at the Los Angeles premiere of her documentary “Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words” on Wednesday.

For the special occasion, Megan, née Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, chose a deep blue silk dress with a fitted bodice and a mermaid-style silhouette with a halter neckline.

The bodice of Megan’s floor-length dress featured a dramatic keyhole neckline. With the stunning dress as the centerpiece, she opted for limited accessories, opting for a few sparkling rings and shimmering statement stud earrings.

Megan’s glam consisted of an updo with curls and baby bangs that framed her face. Her makeup included bold brows, a smokey eye, long lashes and a glossy dark lip.

Megan is the latest celebrity to wear a dress with a revealing cutout to a red carpet event. The rapper and Grammy Award-winning artist added her own twist to the style, previously seen by Tyla at the 2024 BET Awards, Lindsey Vonn at the 2024 ESPY Awards and Olivia Cooke at the House of the Dragon Season 2 premiere in New York City was visible.

Directed by Nneka Onuorah, “Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words” chronicles the rapper’s rise to fame and her struggle for fame. The documentary also highlights the more vulnerable moments in Megan’s life, including the death of her mother. Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words is available to stream on Prime Video.
