Last weekend, celebrities got into the mood by attending several parties – and of course showing off their sophisticated costumes. After all, stars have a long tradition of creating elaborate and over-the-top costumes in honor of the spooky holiday. It was only natural that no expense was spared again this year. In honor of creativity, fashion rounds up some of the best celebrity costumes for Halloween 2024.

Who made the list so far? Couple Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco were among the first celebrities to debut their coordinating costumes: Gomez wore Rodarte for her Alice in Wonderland look, while Blanco went full theatrical in his Mad Hatter outfit. Sophie Turner went out as Trinity The Matrix– and her sleek patent leather bodysuit and tiny sunglasses were just the thing. Lizzo, meanwhile, drew attention to the Ozempic trend by dressing up as a box of “Lizzo” diet suppressants, which promises to boost confidence.

Today Kylie Jenner unveiled her 2024 Halloween costume: a Barbarella-inspired look. Janelle Monáe paid tribute to the classic film AND (in epic style).
