Former President Trump wants to stop Halloween in Albuquerque

Here’s what you should know if you decide to take a trip or are already planning one.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Former President Donald Trump will hold a rally in Albuquerque near the Albuquerque International Sunport this Thursday at noon.

The Republican presidential candidate will speak with supporters at CSI Aviation, located at 2503 Clark Carr Loop SE, according to information from his campaign. Trump last spoke in New Mexico at a rally in Rio Rancho in September 2019. He also visited Albuquerque in 2016.

According to the Republican Party of New Mexico, Trump is supported by Republican U.S. Senate candidate Nella Domenici and U.S. House Second Congressional District candidate Yvette Herrell.

A spokesman for the city of Albuquerque said Sunday that the Trump campaign still owes them $444,986 — including interest that is still accruing.

Registration for tickets for the general public is now available online. Once you have registered, you will receive detailed information about directions and parking options.

What you should know if you go

The parking lot opens at 5 a.m. and shuttles begin operating at 5:30 a.m. Doors open at 8am, before the event program begins at 10am and Trump speaks at 12pm. You are asked to arrive at the parking lots by 7 a.m. at the latest
