Early voting in Oklahoma begins at 8 a.m. and continues through Saturday, allowing all eligible voters across the state to cast their ballot early.

Voters must present a valid photo ID, including a state-issued photo ID or other approved photo ID.

Early voting locations are not the same as polling places. Locations vary depending on the county in which you live.

Gwen Freeman, secretary of the Tulsa County Board of Elections, said the new location near 1-44 and 11th Street offers more space, which will hopefully allow voters to get in and out more quickly, but said long lines continue be expected.

“We just want to ask our voters to be patient,” Freeman said. “The lines will be long.” You can absolutely count on that.”

Everyone will vote on the US President, the Commissioner of State Corporations and State Questions 833 and 834.

In some areas, such as Tulsa, there may be local offices such as mayor.

Early voting takes place Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m

Election day is Tuesday.
