FORECAST

Good morning! Like yesterday, there may be heavy showers or drizzle on your morning commute. This leads to slippery roads in places. The chance of rain will decrease as the afternoon progresses and the sky will be partly cloudy. Temperatures will peak at around 90°C, which would be a record high (last reached in 1947). It will also be windy like Tuesday, with some gusts from the south at 25-30 mph.

A front will move into the hill country tomorrow morning. A thin line of showers and a storm or two will move south along with the front. Unfortunately, the rain is expected to decrease as we get closer to San Antonio. There is a 30% chance of rain tomorrow morning. The front will stall, meaning temperatures are not expected to be significantly cooler. In the afternoon the chance of rain drops to 20%. While we can’t rule out a shower during trick-or-treating time, rain likely won’t be a problem. Expect temperatures in the lower 80s and upper 70s.

We have a slight chance of rain from Friday through the weekend. Any rain will be light and likely insignificant. Remember, we “fall back” early Sunday morning.

A stronger front will target South Texas Monday night into Tuesday morning. We will still have a small chance of showers or storms on this front. This will bring cooler weather and some gusty winds through Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday could possibly only reach the low 70s. By Wednesday morning we will slip into the 50s.
