On Saturday evening, the Caps’ five-game winning streak was rather unceremoniously broken by the Tampa Bay Lightning (and especially by Andrei Vasilevskiy). They’ll look to start a new game against another tough opponent – and one they know pretty well, between division battles and last year’s short-lived but fairly lively playoff opening round. That’s right, the New York Rangers are in town for a Metro Division game.
