I’ll give you half of it.’ She said, “What do I do with this?” I said, ‘Put it between your cheek and your gums, like a dip skoal or something,’ you know? So, she did it, and boy, she just fell asleep.”

Reba added, “I thought, ‘Well, shoot. Mom accepts it. I have to see what she’s experiencing.’”

Previously, the Grammy winner had limited experience with gummy bears. “Maybe one time, you know, two milligrams or something like that,” she said, recalling that “the other time she took it, laid down and went to sleep.”

Later that night, Reba “felt the bed moving” and “looked over” to see her mother needed to use the bathroom. “I threw back the covers and that was it. And I thought, ‘Oh my God, I have to help her. If I don’t, I’ll look like a wimp,'” she explained. “So I thought I’ll either crawl across the bed or walk around.”

She decided to walk around, encouraged herself, slowly walked towards her mother and “finally did it.” But that wasn’t the hardest part.

“I said, ‘Are you OK?’ She said, ‘Yeah, I’m fine,’ and then she reached out and said, ‘Can you get me some more ice water?’ And I said, ‘Ice water, okay,'” Reba remembers. “So I held it and looked at the door, knowing it was far away – I hit the hallway and then the kitchen.”

At this point it was Tremble The star felt her mind “forward-forwarded” to a dark place as she thought about the headlines that could follow a possible incident: “Reba McEntire found ice everywhere in her mother’s kitchen.”

“I thought, ‘There’s no way that’s true.’ So I just turned back to mom and said, “Here you go.” And she took a sip and said, “Ugh, where’s the ice cream?” And I said, “We’re out.” She said, “We have no more ice cream?” I said, ‘Yes,'” she told Fallon, recognizing her own “terrible” behavior.
