INDIANAPOLIS – Swifties take note. Lucas Oil Stadium will not allow fans without tickets to enjoy this weekend’s concert from outside the stadium.

A spokesman for the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium said, “For safety reasons, there will be no crowds or crowds outside the stadium for guests without concert tickets.”

With more than 200,000 people expected to attend the three sold-out shows over the weekend, Indianapolis businesses and organizations have begun preparing more than 50 additional events for fans who cannot attend.

“This is just a perfect situation for us because we’re built as a tailgate,” said Steve Lindsay, co-founder of The Hangar.

The hangar is located east of Lucas Oil Stadium. The sports-themed bar will host the Taylor Swift Ultimate Eras Experience LIVE on three evenings.

The ticketed event will allow fans to share their love for Taylor Swift before and during the concert.

“Even if you don’t come, we want to try to give you this experience. “We do that at The Hanger,” Lindsay explained. “We got the food and drinks, just like other places, but we’re really focusing on the experience aspect.”

A few blocks north, Hotel Indy’s bar, the Cannon Ball Lounge, offers an enchanting rooftop bar experience.

“Dress like you’re going to a concert, put on your favorite outfit from the tour era and come celebrate with other Swifties with Swiftie drinks and really enjoy it,” explained Melanie Williams, marketing manager at the hotel Indy.

Both The Hangar and The Cannon Ball Lounge sell tickets to their events, but there are also many free events around Indianapolis for all ages.
