PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Steelers moved to 6-2 after picking up their third straight victory with a 26-18 win over the New York Giants. Pittsburgh now goes into the bye week as the leaders of the AFC North, before the gauntlet awaits them after the bye week.

A strong offense behind the arm of Russell Wilson is an excellent start to getting things under control on that side of the ball. Three consecutive 100-yard rushing performances from Najee Harris showed that the running game is slowly coming to life.

However, the Giants reached nearly 400 yards on offense after struggling to score at all the past two weeks. Nevertheless, the Steelers continue to force turnovers, win the turnover battle two to one and ultimately secure the victory with a game-winning interception.

The Steelers’ special teams remained elite. Danny Smith’s squad has proven to be one of the best in the league.
