Seven shocking remarks at Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden

Former President Donald Trump held a rally at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday where speakers made numerous vulgar and racist statements.

Speakers at the rally called Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, “the Antichrist” and attacked Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee eight years ago, as a “sick son of shit.”

Speakers also made racist comments about Latinos and blacks, both important voter groups in the election, which is just a week away. Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe branded Puerto Rico a “floating garbage island,” said Latinos love “making babies” and joked about “carving watermelons with a black friend on Halloween,” while radio host Sid Rosenberg called the event “a Nazi “Rally” called.

Here, Newsweek summarizes some of the most shocking comments made at the rally.

“Floating garbage island”

Tony Hinchcliffe, a stand-up comedian, said: “I don’t know if you know this, but at the moment there is literally a floating island of rubbish in the middle of the ocean. Yes. I think her name is Puerto Rico.”

Trump’s senior adviser Danielle Alvarez said Newsweek that the “joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign.”

“These Latinos love having babies.”

“Believe it or not, folks, I welcome migrants to the United States of America with open arms. And by open arms I mean that,” Hinchcliffe said, waving his hands and mouthing, “No, go back.”

He added: “It’s wild. And these Latinos love having babies too, you just have to know that. They do it, they do it. There is no retreat. They don’t do that. They’re coming in, just like they did in our country.”

“We carved watermelons together”

Hinchcliffe also pointed to a man in the audience before saying: “That’s cool, black guy with that thing on his head. What the hell is that, a lampshade? Look at this guy! Oh my God. Wow! That’s me.” Just kidding, that’s one of my friends. He had a Halloween party last night and we carved watermelons together.

Harris is “the Antichrist”

“In fact, whoever shouted that, she is the devil. She is Antichrist,” said David Rem, a sanitation worker considered Trump’s childhood friend, although it was reported that the couple had met for the first time just two weeks ago.

Harris and “Pimp Handlers”

“Kamala Harris is the least qualified candidate to ever run for political office in American history,” businessman Grant Cardone told the crowd.

“She makes her boss look competent. She’s a fake. I’m not here to refute them. She is a fake, a fraud. She is a hypocrite. They and their pimps will destroy our country. They will.”

“Nazi rally”

“I just came back from Israel about two weeks ago. They love Trump in Israel. You know, they love him,” radio host Sid Rosenberg said.

“I come back and they say, ‘Sid, do you want to speak at this MSG thing?’ I say, “Sure – it’s not like me to speak at a Nazi rally, I was just in Israel.” But I took the job.

“Sick son of a bitch”

“She’s a sick bitch, that Hillary Clinton, isn’t she?” said Rosenberg. “What a sick idiot. The whole damn party. A bunch of degenerates. Lowlifes, Jew-haters and lowlifes. Every single one of them. Every single one of them.”
