The Miami Dolphins announced Friday that they will travel abroad to host an international game in 2025. In a press release for season ticket members, the team updated the scheduled games at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens from a projected nine to eight. They also stated that there will be a preseason home game in 2025.

The announcement made in the renewal notification email to all season ticket members read:

The NFL has informed us that we will play an international game as a designated team in the 2025 season. Location, date and time as well as opponents will be confirmed at a later date. Therefore, your 2025 membership fee includes (1) preseason game and (8) regular season home games at Hard Rock Stadium. Ticket information for the international match will be available once the full 2025 schedule is announced.

International games this year included games in London (England) and São Paulo (Brazil). The league will also play a game in Munich, Germany later this season. In February, the league announced it would host a game in Madrid, Spain, in 2025. The Dolphins, along with the Chicago Bears, have marketing rights in Spain, which has led to speculation that Miami will play its home international game at Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid FC
