College rivalries don’t end in the NFL.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson believed the Longhorns would beat the Bulldogs last week, but his old team let him down. Texas football lost to Georgia 30-15 and as a result Robinson lost his bet against Falcons tight end Charlie Woerner, a Georgia product.

Robinson sheepishly went into availability Wednesday wearing a Bulldogs T-shirt. The ex-Texan reportedly mumbled “Georgia sucks” as he walked to the podium.

“This shirt is really not cool,” Robinson said.

A five-star recruit out of Arizona and the top-rated running back prospect in the 2020 cycle, Robinson lived up to the hype during his three years at Texas. His 3,410 career rushing yards trail only program icons Ricky Williams (6,279), Cedric Benson (5,540) and Earl Campbell (4,443). Robinson also scored 33 goals in his three seasons.

Robinson was drafted seventh overall by the Falcons in the 2023 NFL Draft and amassed 1,463 yards from scrimmage and eight total touchdowns in his rookie season. He totaled 684 yards and four touchdowns in seven games during his sophomore season.
