Notably, the Olympians ran in version 2 of the Adidas Adizero Adios Evo 1, which is not available on the Adidas website. The main difference between the two versions is a grippier outsole on the newer model. You can also see additional cutouts in the version 2’s outsole that you won’t find on the version 1’s smooth underfoot foil.
