There’s a star-studded Carolina concert in Charlotte this weekend: What you should know

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – A month after Helene hit the Carolinas, recovery efforts continue in both states.

Those efforts will get a big boost Saturday night when tens of thousands of people flock to Bank of America Stadium for the benefit concert. Concert for Carolina.

The concert will be headlined by North Carolina natives Luke Combs and Eric Church. All proceeds go to charities that help those most in need. North Carolinians Scotty McCreery, Chase Rice, Parmalee, the Avett Brothers and James Taylor will also perform, along with several other big names.

The show is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and is virtually sold out with only a handful of tickets remaining Ticketmaster.

Concert attendees should keep in mind that the NFL’s clear bag policy will be enforced.

All proceeds will be split between nonprofits supported by Combs and Church and include Chief Cares Fund, Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina and Eblen Charities.
