    Clemson football has been one of the hottest teams in the country since its Week 1 loss to Georgia – and is getting a much-needed bye week before the season’s crucial home stretch.

    The No. 9 Tigers (6-1, 5-0 ACC) have been dominant since a 34-3 loss to the Bulldogs in Atlanta and have defeated each of their last six opponents by double digits. Quarterback Cade Klubnik has emerged as a potential Heisman Trophy candidate as he has rushed for 1,836 yards with 20 touchdowns and three interceptions, as well as 227 rushing yards and four scores this season.

    Clemson’s schedule hasn’t been too tough since the Georgia game; However, the bye week comes before a home game against Louisville, road trips at Virginia Tech and Pitt, and home contests against The Citadel and in-state rival South Carolina.
