Megan Thee Stallion says Spiritbox will appear on her new album this week

Spiritbox will appear on Megan Thee Stallion’s new album this week.

The rapper made the revelation via Instagram on Wednesday (October 23) when she shared the upcoming album’s tracklist Megan: Act IIwill be released this Friday, October 25th. The eighth song, TYGis listed with a spirit box function.

The collaboration will mark the second time Stallion and Spiritbox have worked together. In November 2023, the progressive metalcore band released an official remix of Stallion’s track cobra. When the song came out, frontwoman Courtney LaPlante wrote on Instagram: “Thank you Megan for giving us the opportunity to collaborate on your already iconic new song cobra. I am extremely grateful to you.”

Guitarist Mike Stringer added: “Thank you to Megan for trusting us to combine our two worlds. Nothing but respect and gratitude. It’s an absolute honor.”

Spiritbox are currently touring North America as support act for nu-metal pioneers Korn. They have released their new EP, The fear of fearlast year and appear to be gearing up for their long-awaited second album. The band released the single Soft spine last month and in January, they shared a photo of themselves in the studio with former Bring Me The Horizon member/producer Jordan Fish.

The band will play a European tour in early 2025, supported by Periphery and Stray From The Path. This run will see Spiritbox headlining the 10,000 capacity Alexandra Palace, playing their biggest London show to date. Dates and details can be found below.

Megan: Act II will be Stallion’s fourth studio album and the follow-up to Meganpublished in June. In addition to Spiritbox, the album will feature RM from the K-pop boy band BTS as well as Flo Milli, Twice and Yuki Chiba. His lead single, Neva gamefell last month.
