Christian music stars can’t wait for their upcoming film

Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham shared their excitement about their upcoming documentary/concert experience FOR THE ONE.

“I have a really exciting announcement. In case you haven’t heard, but also just a little more information about a really cool project that me and some friends have taken on. It’s coming out very soon and I’m really, really excited. If you saw the title, you know it’s FOR THE ONE, the movie, and I’m so excited and some of my friends who are involved in this movie are so excited to talk about it,” shared Lake with his fans.

“This thing that we’ve been talking about for months, almost a year now – a year ago it felt like a pipe dream, and then we just brought in the right people who worked hard to make this thing a reality Wickham added. “This documentary about FOR THE ONE is coming out in just about a week and a half. It’s crazy.”

FOR THE ONE is a concert experience and a behind-the-scenes look at the work worship leaders like Lake and Wickham do to make their tours possible. It showcases the fun and hard times the two experienced while touring together, and they hope it ultimately helps audiences find the Lord.

“This documentary is for the one we revere, but it is also for the one in the theaters who needs to hear the Gospel; that God loved the world so much,” Wickham said. “It really feels like an extension of what we do, preaching the gospel, talking about Jesus, singing songs and leading people in worship.”

“What they bring to an evening stadium is really exciting. Hopefully we captured it on film in a way that makes it a really fulfilling experience for people. I believe that will be the case,” producer Ken Carpenter told Movieguide®. “And the film really – I don’t know if that’s the right term – but there’s a bromance and the film, among many other things, aims to illustrate that and show that there’s really something special there.” with how God brought these two boys together.”

FOR THE ONE will be in theaters October 27th-29th.
