GloRilla sparks debate over baby bump Instagram post: “She’s trolling for Halloween”

GloRilla has sparked debate among fans after posting pictures of her cradling her baby bump on Instagram.

On October 23, the 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, posted pictures of herself posing in a cream-colored jumpsuit with her hands resting on her bloated stomach. With no caption, fans wondered if GloRilla’s post was a joke or a subtle way to announce that she was pregnant.

Many of her followers jumped into the comments to question the legitimacy of her alleged pregnancy, while others laughed at what they thought was a Halloween joke.

“She’s trolling for Halloween (season),” one person said.

The artist’s 15-song album comes after her two hits “Tomorrow” and “FNF (Let’s Go)” exploded and earned her her first Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance in 2023. However, in the months that followed, enthusiasm for GloRilla waned.

“Every time I put out a song, they weren’t really feeling it,” she said The Associated Press. “I lost a little confidence.”

GloRilla continued to work on her sound and fine-tune her direction and rhythm to complete her first studio project. “That’s why I didn’t give up. … I saw it as motivation,” she said.
