The 20-year-old James is making his professional debut after being drafted by the Lakers in the second round (No. 55 overall) in the 2024 draft.

“Whenever it happens, it will happen,” LeBron said. “Whether it’s tonight or in the future, whenever it happens, it will happen. But it was a pleasure, and especially in the pre-season, the training, just every day… it just brings him up to speed on what this professional life is about and how to prepare every day as a professional.”

Ken Griffey Sr. and his Hall of Fame son, the first father-son duo in Major League Baseball history, were in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to witness NBA history.

“It’s going to be crazy,” Bronny said of the Griffeys’ participation in the game. “Only two families can do this, so it’s going to be a crazy experience, especially given what they’ve done.”
