Country star Zach Bryan apologizes to “everyone I let down” as he announces split from girlfriend

Zach Bryan took responsibility for the fact that his relationship with now-ex Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia wasn’t “perfect” after confirming on Tuesday that they had split.

“Brianna and I have separated and I respect and love her with all my heart,” the 28-year-old country star began in a lengthy post on his Instagram Story.

He added: “She loved me unconditionally for a very long time and I will always thank her for that. I’ve personally had an incredibly tough year and have had to go through some pretty bad things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go down our different paths.

“I am not perfect and never will be,” he admitted.

He asked fans to respect LaPaglia’s privacy, and “if you have her in your heart,” his too.

“To all that I am and to everyone I let down, I am sorry for doing my best in everything. I have let down people who love me and especially myself,” he concluded.

Bryan’s admission came a day after LaPaglia posted a cryptic handwritten note on notebook paper that said, “At some point you’ll realize that life goes on, even when you don’t want it to.”

The note continues: “The days will pass and the world will move as you ask it to stop. You will believe that life is cruel if you keep going while your feet are stuck. You will find people and moments that you can blame for your concrete feet.” . Then comes a morning when you wake up and realize that life isn’t cruel. The world keeps turning in hopes of showing you that you can do it too.

After Bryan announced that they had broken up, LaPaglia took to her Instagram Story once again to let fans know that she wanted to take a break from social media.

“Hey guys, I’m feeling really blindsided right now,” she wrote on Tuesday. “I’m going to stay away from social media for a while and try to heal privately. When I’m ready, I’ll be back and ready to talk. I love you guys so much, thank you for all your kind words. Remember that you are so loved” and everything will always be okay.

LaPaglia reiterated that she felt “blindsided” in a YouTube video where she went into more detail and said she didn’t know he was going to post about their breakup.

“I just woke up when Zach posted on his Instagram that we broke up,” she said in the video. “I had no idea this post would blow up. He didn’t text me. And I’m like, “Did my damn father die?” And so I’m completely blindsided by it.

She added that she cried for about five days straight.

She said she couldn’t understand how someone could love someone “so unconditionally through things you shouldn’t love, because you just love them like you see the good in them” and yet “get thrown away in a few days.” .

LaPaglia said she doesn’t want to go into detail about the breakup yet because she needs to “heal privately” first.

“I’ll be fine, I’ll be fine, I’m obviously very hurt at the moment,” she added.

She added: “There is nothing I wouldn’t do for you. My person forever. I love you, my Zachary.”

For her 25th birthday in June, Bryan also posted a carousel of photos of the two of them.

“25 years of making people laugh, bringing kindness into rooms, and carrying the burdens of everyone around you like it was easy,” he wrote. “You don’t judge at first glance, you have an opinion that you stick to, and you make every day warmer, no matter what the weather is.”
I love you Brianna, I pray I get to say all of this after another 25 years.
