Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is No. 1 on the Hot 100 for its 15th week

Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in its 15th round.

The song, which became the singer-songwriter’s first Hot 100 chart-topper in July, extends the singer-songwriter’s longest reign to 2024. It also makes Harry Styles’ 2022 hit “As It Was” his second-longest reign decade; Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” – like “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”, a country-pop crossover hit – dominated 2023 for 16 weeks.

In the Hot 100’s entire 66-year history, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is one of only six hits to spend at least 16 weeks at the top.

“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” also extends the longest No. 1 run of 2024 on the multi-metric Hot Country Songs chart, capturing a 19th week at the top.

The Hot 100 combines US streaming of all genres (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the latter metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; Digital Singles sales through direct-to-consumer (D2C) websites are excluded from chart calculations. All charts (as of October 26, 2024) will be updated tomorrow, October 22, on Billboard.com. For all chart news, you can follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X and Instagram.
