Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans left the contest against the Baltimore Ravens with an injury

Mike Evans gave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers an early 7-0 lead over the Baltimore Ravens while also collecting his 100th touchdown reception. The joy of such an incredible feat didn’t last long, however, as a few drives later, Evans suffered a hamstring injury while reaching for a pass from Baker Mayfield in the end zone.

Shortly afterwards, Evans was sidelined with a hamstring injury, the team announced.

For a talent like Evans, it’s better to play it safe and sit him out for the game. And this without knowing the full extent of the injury. The Buccaneers are hoping Evans gets healthy this week and returns as quickly as possible.

The Buccaneers currently trail the Ravens 14-10, with Mayfield throwing a second interception in the contest. Without Evans it will be even more difficult to play from the back.
