Lillian Garcia is backstage for this week’s episode of WWE Raw in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Garcia is at the Wells Fargo Center where Toinght’s Raw is taking place. There is currently no indication as to why she is there or if she will be on the show. Garcia had been a WWE ring announcer since 1999. She left the company in 2016.

News of Garcia’s presence on Raw this week follows current Raw ring announcer Samantha Irvin’s announcement that she has left the company. Irvin posted on social media Monday afternoon to break the news to fans and thank many in WWE for their support.

WWE people reportedly believed that Irvin’s departure was likely once Ricochet signed with AEW. Ricochet is Irvin’s fiancé. At this time, Irvin has not made a public statement as to why she left WWE.

Irvin began her WWE announcing career in 2021. She originally tried to become a wrestler but failed after her first tryout. Irvin has announced at 205 Live, NXT, Smackdown and major WWE PLEs like WrestleMania.

On this week’s episode of Raw, Jey Uso and Bron Breakker will battle for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the main event. This is a rematch of a previous main event that took place on the show a few weeks ago.

This week’s show also features two tournament matches in the number one contender’s tag team championship tournament and a one-on-one confrontation between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed.
