The Buffalo Bills (5-2) entered Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans (1-5) looking to continue their winning streak after last week’s decisive victory over the New York Jets. Buffalo also had a chance to see what their offense would look like, with star wide receiver Amari Cooper on the field against a Titans defense that ranked ninth in the NFL in points allowed and first in yards allowed.

Despite the good performance of Tennessee’s defense early in the contest, the Bills prevailed with a commanding 34-10 victory over the Titans. Star quarterback Josh Allen had a solid performance, completing 21 of 33 passes for 323 yards and two touchdowns, one each to Cooper and rookie wideout Keon Coleman.

This game got off to a rough start for Buffalo as they entered halftime trailing Tennessee 10-7 before being eliminated in the second half of the contest. With Sunday’s win, the Bills appear to be evenly matched in the AFC East.

Without further ado, here is the stock report following the Bills’ win over the Titans:

Stock up: QB Josh Allen

As expected, Allen was the best player on the field for the Bills and he is the reason Buffalo was able to pull away from Tennessee in the second half. In addition to throwing the football all over the field, Allen helped four different receivers compile at least 52 receiving yards on the day in an all-around great offensive performance.

Stock Down: RB James Cook

Cook returned to Buffalo’s lineup after missing last week’s win over the Jets with a toe injury, but it was clear he was still recovering from that injury due to his ineffectiveness on the floor. Although Cook scored a touchdown, he ran the ball 12 times for 32 yards (2.7 yards per carry), which was his worst rushing performance of the season so far.

Adding: DE Greg Rousseau

Sunday was a day where Rousseau wasn’t the most productive day statistically, but it was clear that he was the best player on the Bills’ defense as they tried to keep Tennessee’s offense under control. Rousseau recorded just 0.5 sacks, but also had five tackles (two solo) and six QB hits while continually getting in Mason Rudolph’s way.

Stock Down: TE Dawson Knox

While this was predictable before the season began, Knox appears to have taken a backseat to fellow tight end Dalton Kincaid when it comes to pass-catching on offense. Knox caught just one of three targets for five yards, his fourth game this season with five or fewer receiving yards.

Stock up: WR Keon Coleman

Based on what the Hall of Fame wide receiver had to say about Coleman, there was legitimate reason to question whether the Bills had done the best for his development at this early point in his career. There could have been even more reason for concern about Coleman’s development after Buffalo traded for star wide receiver Amari Cooper, but in this case, Coleman allayed those fears as he posted 125 yards on four targets.

Stepping up: LB Terrel Bernard

While Bernard left that game with an ankle injury, he had a pretty good performance before his exit, part of an overall great performance by the Bills’ defense against a Tennessee offense that has struggled so far in the season. Bernard posted eight tackles (six solo) and also two tackles for loss, showcasing his ability to get into the Titans’ backfield and wreak havoc when the defense needed a play.
