Sunny but windy Monday in southern Colorado

The forecast for tonight:
Showers are possible across the region tonight, with some isolated showers on mountain peaks and rain in the eastern plains. The showers should stop by sunrise. Temperatures will be cold tonight, reaching 20 and 30 degrees in the mountains and between 30 and 40 degrees on I-25 and the plains.

Colorado Springs Forecast: Low: 38; High: 68;
Partly cloudy in the morning and mostly sunny in the afternoon, with highs about 5 degrees above average. Winds will be northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Pueblo Forecast: Low: 42; High: 72;
Monday will be mostly sunny and windy with a westerly wind 10-15 mph and gusts to 30 mph. The maximum temperature will be almost 5 degrees above average.

Canon City forecast: Low: 44; High: 70;
Monday will be mostly sunny and windy, with westerly winds at 10-15 mph and gusts to 35 mph.

Woodland Park Forecast: Low: 30; High: 60;
There is a small chance of early morning snowflakes with little to no accumulation. The sky will clear and Monday will be sunny and windy overall. Winds will be WNW at 10-15 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph.

Tri Lakes Forecast: Low: 38; High: 64;
On Monday it will be cool but pleasant in Monument and the sun will shine. Winds will be strong from the WNW all day at 10-15 mph, gusting up to 30 mph.

Plains forecast: Low: 40s/50s; High: 70s;
The sky will clear in the plains and there will be gusty winds on Monday. Winds will be WSW at 10-15 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph.

Forecast for Walsenburg and Trinidad: Low: 38/39; High: 64/68;
It will be a mostly sunny and windy day with WSW winds at 10-15 mph and gusts to 35 mph.

Mountain Forecast: Low: 20s/30s; High: 50s/60s;
In the mountain valleys the sky will clear on Monday with gusty winds. Winds will be westerly at 10-20 mph with gusts of 30-40 mph.

Advanced Forecast Forecast:
The rest of the week the weather will be fairly calm and mild. Highs will be in the 60s to 70s on the plains and in the 50s to 60s on the mountains. Skies will be mostly clear with no significant precipitation.
