Early voting for the upcoming general election is scheduled to begin Monday in St. Lucie County.

Gertrude Walker, elections director, announced, “We are pleased to introduce the Robert E. Minsky Gym as a new early voting location for residents of southwest Port St. Lucie, an area of ​​St. Lucie County that has a significant Growth recorded.”

Walker explained that this new location aims to reduce wait times and lines for residents in the Tradition area.

Officials urge registered voters to remember to bring a signed photo ID when voting.

Early voting is available from October 21 to November 2, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on November 3 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m

Early voting locations in St. Lucie County include:

  • Renaissance Business Park: 4132 Okeechobee Rd., Fort Pierce
  • Zora Neale Hurston Library: 3008 Avenue D, Fort Pierce
  • Indian River State College Veterans Excellence Center: 500 NW California Blvd., Port St. Lucie
  • MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Event Center: 9221 SE Event Center Place, Port St. Lucie
  • Paula A. Lewis Library: 2950 SW Rosser Blvd., Port St. Lucie
  • Port St. Lucie Community Center: 2195 SE Airoso Blvd., Port St. Lucie
  • Robert E. Minsky Gym – New location: 750 SW Darwin Blvd., Port St. Lucie

It noted that curbside absentee ballots will be available at secure ballot collection stations at early voting locations.
