In a sort of featherweight throwback to the 2000s, the Victoria’s Secret fashion show returned to social media on October 15th. From VS favorites like Tyra Banks and Bella Hadid to newcomers like Lila Moss and Alex Consani, models adorned in lingerie charmed their way down the runway. Aside from the beauty and fantasy of the show, we all know that the hottest looks are always found at the after party.

To celebrate the return of fashion’s most famous and controversial runway, a star-studded guest list turned out in New York’s Meatpacking District. And at this celebration it becomes clear that sheer party and after-party have now become almost synonymous. It was also one of the coldest nights NYC has experienced this fall, so it’s always surprising to see how committed these stars are to this look, even when it’s 55 degrees outside.

In the age of quiet luxury, it was a huge relief for Beyoncé fashion lovers on the internet to see every top model, pop star and socialite stepping out in bold glamour. From basketball superstars Angel Reese and Kysre Gondrezick to VS bombshells Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima, it’s safe to say we were stuffed. Footage from outside the party showed a range of after-dark lingerie looks that serve as perfect inspiration for the holiday season. Similar to the fashion show, underwear was the focus of the afterparty. Anok Yai wore a structured black corset with tights and singer Tyla opted for an ivory lace bralette. Others chose to pair their underwear with gorgeous dresses, like Ashley Graham’s silky lace-up dress with a cheetah-print bra peeking through, and Jasmine Tookes, who paired her gold dress with a shimmering silver bra.

The stars looked like they were at the most fabulous sleepover. Black was the look and seductive necklines in satin and leather were in abundance. Sheer mesh was also a hot commodity: Singer Coco Jones and personality Jordyn Woods showed some skin in black embroidered dresses, and model Imaan Hammam covered her black lingerie with a sheer evening gown.
