According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is “unlikely” to play in Week 7 when Jacksonville hosts the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium in London.

Jacksonville head coach Doug Pederson said Friday that Etienne is “progressing” in his recovery from a hamstring injury he suffered last week against the Chicago Bears, suggesting his availability against New England will be a decision during of the game would be.

The update followed Pederson calling Etienne “week-to-week” on Monday about his injury.

Etienne has rushed for 230 yards and two touchdowns on 56 rushing attempts this season and added 91 yards on 16 receptions.

Etienne, Jacksonville’s second first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, has completed 543 carries for 2,363 yards and 18 touchdowns and caught 109 passes for 883 yards and one touchdown in his 40-game career with the Jaguars.

Tank Bigsby will likely start in place of Etienne at running back against the Patriots on Sunday. Bigsby has rushed for 297 yards and two touchdowns on 41 rushing attempts this season.
