Kansas State football is heading on the road for the second straight year, but this time to the East to face West Virginia in a Saturday night game at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown.

The 17th-ranked Wildcats (5-1, 2-1) have won two straight, including a late 31-28 decision at Colorado last week. If they can defeat West Virginia (3-3, 2-1), they would earn back-to-back conference road wins for the first time since the end of the 2022 season. The Mountaineers suffer their first Big 12 loss after losing 28-16 at home to undefeated Iowa State.

K-State and West Virginia feature a matchup featuring two of the Big 12’s best rushing offenses and two of the better run-stopping defenses. Wildcat running back DJ Giddens is the conference rushing leader with 786 yards and reached over 180 against Oklahoma and Colorado in each of the last two weeks, while West Virginia splits its runs evenly between quarterback Garrett Greene (382 yards) and running back Jahiem White (398 ) splits ) and CJ Donaldson (378).

Greene led the way in the passing game with 1,267 yards to K-State’s Avery Johnson’s 1,103.
