And the Spartans could potentially get back one of their long-term losses early in the season, as wide receiver Alante Brown is listed as questionable for the first time since suffering an upper-body injury in the opener against Florida Atlantic.

Brown, a fifth-year senior, caught a pass for 15 yards against FAU and returned a kickoff for 33 yards.

Three players remain out: defensive back Dillon Tatum (lower body), cornerback Chance Rucker (arm) and wide receiver Antonio Gates Jr. (unknown). Along with Brown, defensive end Avery Dunn (unknown) returns to the questionable list after sitting out five of the first six games and only appeared in a loss to Ohio State on Sept. 28.
