NCHC unveils CBS Sports Network television schedule for 2025

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – With the 2024-25 season underway, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) has announced its television schedule on CBS Sports Network for the second half of the season. The network will once again serve as the NCHC’s national television partner, having done so for all twelve years of the conference’s existence.

CBS Sports Network will televise 11 NCHC games beginning in January, including eight Friday night regular-season conference contests and all three games in the 2025 NCHC Frozen Faceoff. All nine NCHC teams will be featured on CBS Sports Network at least once during the regular season with six teams being televised in their home arenas.

The NCHC on the CBS Sports Network slate begins in the desert on Friday, Jan. 10, when NCHC newcomer Arizona State hosts North Dakota. ASU’s Mullett Arena will be featured nationally, with game time now set at 10:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. MST.

The following Friday (Jan. 17) will see another start at 10:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. MST on CBS Sports Network as Minnesota Duluth battles Colorado College at Ed Robson Arena. Two weeks later (January 31), Robson Arena will once again host CBS Sports Network to televise the clash between Western Michigan and Colorado College. In between trips to Colorado Springs, CBS Sports Network travels to Baxter Arena on Jan. 24 while St. Cloud State visits Omaha.

The first two February NCHC broadcasts on CBS Sports Network will feature the defending national champion Denver Pioneers. Mullett Arena will be back in the spotlight on Friday, February 7, when the Pioneers take on the Sun Devils in Tempe. The following week (Feb. 14), rivals meet on CBS Sports Network as Denver returns home to host North Dakota in a battle of last two Penrose Cup champions and last season’s two NCHC trophy winners.

Television programming continues with the penultimate game of the regular season on CBS Sports Network on February 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT as Miami takes on Minnesota Duluth at AMSOIL Arena. The regular season on CBS Sports Network then concludes on Friday, March 7, when Omaha travels north to take on North Dakota at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

CBS Sports Network will once again broadcast the entire NCHC Frozen Faceoff live from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. Both semifinals will take place on Friday, March 21, while the championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 8:30 a.m. ET/7:30 p.m. CT, when the 2025 NCHC Tournament champion will be crowned.

CBS Sports Network is widely available across all major cable, satellite and telecommunications providers, as well as OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fuboTV and Hulu. Additionally, a live stream of CBS Sports Network is available via CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app by authenticating with select providers.
