The Luminaria Contemporary Art Festival returns to Hemisfair

Hello! We’re already halfway through the spooky season. I particularly liked the beautiful cold front last week; it finally feels like fall.

Even though the fall weather can be “corn-melting” here in Texas, rest assured you can still visit corn mazes or pumpkin patches this weekend. Have you started carving pumpkins? Or how about decorations outside your home? We want to see these great photos on KSAT Connect!

You can also check out the fall jazz concert series at the Japanese Tea Garden or check out the recent Oktoberfest events that some local venues are hosting.

Here’s a look at this weekend’s event list:

Happening on the weekend:

  • “HAPPY FRIGHTS” & “HAUNTING NIGHTS”: During Happy Frights through October 31st, guests can have the opportunity to take photos with a jack-o-lantern or adventure through a neon light maze. Check-in begins at 5:00 p.m. at the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Haunting Nights begins at 8 p.m. The night experience includes a pumpkin tunnel, a maze full of surprises in the neon maze and more. Tickets and further information can be found online.
