Taylor Swift finally debuts the new “Reputation” bodysuit in Miami

MIAMI – Taylor Swift was a breath of fresh air in Miami on Friday as the Eras Tour returned to the U.S. and a special wardrobe change had fans on edge.

Swifties closely follow the outfits the singer wears on stage, and she has changed them in every era but one.

That changed on Friday.

After 131 shows, she finally debuted another “Reputation” bodysuit when it poured rain during “…Are You Ready For It?” This one is black and covered in gold snakes, not red ones. What does the change mean? Time will tell and fans will spend that time clowning.

They’re eagerly awaiting news and looking for clues as to when Swift will release “Reputation (Taylor’s Version).” So far she has re-recorded four of her first six albums, so she owns them.

Swift also unveiled a new silver fringe dress on Friday for her “Fearless” set and a pink, purple and blue dress for her surprise acoustic set.

It was a memorable start to Swift’s remaining US tour dates. She will be back in Miami on Saturday and Sunday and then travel to New Orleans and Indianapolis.

Florence Welch, Rain makes special appearances

As the “Fearless” set ended, it began to rain, and Swift declared the concert an official “rain show” before singing “All Too Well.” Rain shows hold a special place in Swift lore. The first rain show of the Eras Tour took place in Nashville in 2023.

“The dancers, the band, the audience and I all turned into little kids happily jumping in puddles all night long,” Swift wrote on X after that show. “It was a late, great evening that I won’t forget become.”

Swift appeared to be having a lot of fun with Florence Welch in Miami when the British singer made a surprise appearance and sang their duet “Florida!!!”

The entire crowd screamed as the lead singer of Florence + The Machine performed during the second verse of “Tortured Poets,” track 8.

Welch introduced the song at the final show at Wembley Stadium in London on August 20th. Fans speculated that the song might be part of the setlist in the future, as the dancers had to learn a new dance and the production created new stage graphics. The haunting tune about escaping worries to Destin, Florida, sits between “So High School” and “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?”

The center platform propelled the two stars during the line, “So I did my best to lay to rest every body that ever was on my body.” A swampy green animation filled the backstage screen with sharp camera shots of the singers . Swift’s backup dancers posed in gnarly tree positions. At the end, the two singers walked down the runway to the end to sing the final “Florida!!!” Go on, (expletive) me up.”

The evening began with an opening set from rising singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams, who opened previous U.S. dates on the Eras Tour and will perform on the remaining North American dates through the end of this year.

“I’m a die-hard Swiftie, so I’m literally just one of you. As soon as our set is over, I’m going to be in the stands crying,” Abrams said Friday from the stage in a sheer black dress with red details and a cutout at the waist.

She’s taking a break from her own “Secret of Us” tour to promote her second album of the same name, which features a duet with Swift.
