If you’re one of the more than 60,000 people who have a ticket to one of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” shows in Miami this weekend, you may be worried that Florida’s hurricane season could dampen the shows with rain.

October is still considered hurricane season in Florida, and the state was just hit by two devastating major storms that flooded much of the state just weeks after a record-breaking third landfall in Florida.

Regardless of the weather, Swift will likely take the stage. After all, she is known among her fans for loving a “rain show” at her concerts and regularly dancing and singing through bad weather.

The weekend forecast for South Florida looks pretty dry, but there is still a chance of rain tonight and Sunday. Here’s the weather forecast for Miami this weekend and what you should know about Taylor Swift’s rain shows.

Miami Weather This Weekend: Will It Rain at Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Shows?

Get ready to stand in your best raincoat during the shows. And while it’s not “cold” in Florida this weekend, it will be chilly, so you may need slightly warmer clothing than is typical for South Florida.

Last week, the NHC center predicted an early-season cold front will move through the Gulf of Mexico. Temperatures were above 70 degrees in the evenings all week, even in South Florida. Some regions of Florida, such as North Florida, experienced cool morning and evening temperatures in the low 60s this week.

Here’s the Weather Channel’s outlook for Miami’s weather this weekend, as of Friday, October 18, 2 p.m. EDT:

Taylor Swift Miami Concert Live Updates: Era’s Tour is coming to the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida

What happens if it rains at Taylor Swift’s concert? Does the Eras tour take place rain or shine?

While Swift is known for her “rain shows” and is a pro, some fans might be worried about seeing the pop star perform in a thunderstorm.

On the Taylor Swift subreddit, fans who attended these storm shows shared tips on how to stay sober and have fun over the years. Here are some of the top recommendations – from Swifties for Swifties:

  • Rethink your themed outfit: Not news you’d want to hear after planning your outfit for almost a year, but some fans have suggested incorporating warmer, waterproof, and/or thicker items into your outfit.
  • Bring a poncho: Many highlight the disposable ponchos from retailers like CVS, Walgreens and Walmart. Some also recommended a raincoat to ensure it doesn’t get wet or damp when it stops raining.
  • Bring the largest clear bag possible and prepare the following: Fans made it a point to pack extra socks, gloves and hand warmers as it could freeze once the rain lets up.
  • Bring comfortable shoes that won’t get wet: Even though we’d love to break out the sparkly boots that go so well with our outfit, you might want to reconsider or bring a backup piece. Swifties remarked on how miserable rain concerts are when the kicks are soaked.
  • If you manage, leave 1-2 minutes before the official final to make your way to the car/transportation: Once the lights come back on, you’re suddenly on a mission to get back home or to your accommodation along with thousands of other fans. Avoid being crammed in like a sardine and leave a few minutes early.
  • If there is lightning, do not enter the stadium yet: Fans traveling through Nashville on the third night (a rain-soaked show that took place despite significant storm delays that pushed the start time past 10 p.m.) recounted how they had to huddle together to find shelter. They recommended that if the show hasn’t started yet, just wait in the car.
  • Bring towels, water, and snacks for the ride home: For those who park nearby, fans make it a point to bring some “survival gear” with them once they get back in. Towels to dry off, snacks to refuel, and if you can’t pack extra socks, put them in your car.
