It’s a Week 8 edition of Football Friday on “The Joe Gaither Show” as we focus heavily on the Alabama-Tennessee rivalry on the “third Saturday in October.” We are blessed to have Caleb Sisk from Tennessee Volunteers On SI joining us to give us the volunteers’ perspective, as well as our friends Katie Windham and Hunter De Siver from BamaCentral who will be previewing their trip to Knoxville.

The show opens with Sisk outlining some of the issues Tennessee has faced in recent weeks. Sisk describes first-year starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava and how he matched up with Josh Heupel, as there was a lot of good and bad in the first six games. What kind of loss is Kennan Pili? Then we turn to De Siver and Windham as the two help us analyze what we saw against South Carolina last weekend and what we might see tomorrow at Neyland Stadium. How much of the season’s difficulties can be attributed to the transition to head coach Kalen DeBoer? Can the team build on last week’s win and play dominant football again?
