“So much love for you”

Jack Campbell and Ashley Sonnenberg have officially tied the knot in a dream wedding in Mexico. Sonnenberg posted numerous black-and-white photos of her wedding to the NHL goalie on Instagram over the weekend and listed “The Cape,” a Thompson Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, as the location.

In her first post on Friday, the Vancouverite captioned her post “Mr. and Mrs. Soup” with black and white heart emojis. This post featured several snaps from their special day, including moments from the ceremony surrounded by loved ones and pictures of the two posing at the venue. Sonnenberg wore a stunning corset-style wedding dress designed by Galia Lahav.

On Sunday, she posted more photos from her wedding day, adding the caption, “So much love for you.” The photo carousel included a picture of her and Campbell kissing next to a bathtub, as well as more snaps of them hugging and celebrating.

Instagram users shared their love in the comments on both posts. Many people also expressed their amazement at the beautiful photos.

“I’m crying again. I love you guys,” wrote one participant.

“More than stunning!” someone shared.

“The most beautiful, incredible people got married!” raved someone else.

“The most stunning photos! Congratulations!” one person added.

“Literally the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen!” someone chimed in.

The Detroit Red Wings player and his now wife got engaged in Curaçao in 2022 and have been enjoying their engagement ever since; on a trip to La Fortuna, Costa Rica last fall, the couple even decided to get matching tattoos.

But last June, Sonnenberg also shared snaps on Instagram from a Bachelorette trip to Nashville that suggested her wedding was imminent. At the time, she shared a carousel of snaps and videos from the trip.

There, she wore an all-white ensemble consisting of a pleated miniskirt and a cropped T-shirt, complemented by silver rhinestone-studded stiletto boots with a pointed toe. She completed her look with a rhinestone belt and a white cowboy hat.

“Bride or die. The best girls, the best bachelorette party, the best weekend I could ask for! Infinitely grateful for the best, funniest friends in the world,” Sonnenberg wrote under this post.

In the comments, her followers showered her post with compliments on her looks. Many also congratulated her on her upcoming wedding to the former Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs player.

“I love you!” her fiancé commented.

“The sweetest bride ever,” wrote one fan.

“Stunning bride-to-be! Love the outfit,” another shared.

“Best bride!” someone else interjected.
