North Texans are in for a beautiful morning with temperatures in the 40s and 50s with clear skies.

An extra layer may be necessary for the morning, but temperatures will warm up in the afternoon, reaching the upper 70s.

Pleasant weather is expected to continue into the weekend, with sunny skies, morning temperatures in the 50s and afternoon temperatures in the 80s.

Unfortunately, there are no significant chances of rain in the forecast for the coming week as high pressure builds up again.

Due to increasing drought, dry air and occasional breezy winds, the fire threat remains high in North Texas into next week.

There is a 20% chance of rain on Thursday, but this is more of an optimistic forecast.

The models don’t agree on the rain and only show isolated showers at best. The chance of rain could disappear around Thursday.
