On the October 16 episode of his podcast New Heights, Travis Kelce shared details about his recent appearance with Taylor Swift at a New York Yankees game. As Kelce reflected on the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week, he took a moment to talk about the experience. He admitted to having “mixed feelings” about the Oct. 14 appearance where the couple was spotted at Yankee Stadium for Game 1 of the American League Championship Series.

“I scream all the time,” Travis Kelce said. “I’m in enemy territory because it’s the Bronx Bombers and I’m at Yankees Stadium in the playoffs. “I’m here cheering on the Guards because I’m a Cleveland,” he shared with his brother Jason Kelce, who also hosts the podcast with him.

Kelce further recounted the experience, admitting that it was difficult to support the away team while also wanting to enjoy the evening with Swift and her friends. “I was there trying to have some fun with Tay and everyone else, all our friends… We had an incredible crew with us and hanging out with each other,” he said, adding that the game went ahead despite the Guardians’ loss is still exciting.

“It was cool to see Yankees Stadium because I’ve always wanted to see that thing in person – in a playoff game, in a hostile environment – and it didn’t disappoint, man,” the Kansas City Chiefs player explained.
