New York Rangers at Detroit Red Wings (7:30 p.m. ET; HULU, ESPN+)

The Rangers (2-0-1) are looking to extend their season-opening point streak to at least four games for the first time since starting 5-0-0 in the 2008-09 season. They face the Red Wings (1-2-0) for the second time in four days after a 4-1 win at Madison Square Garden on Monday and have defeated Detroit in four straight games since Nov. 7, 2023. Artemi Panarin, who had three assists on Monday, will try to match or surpass his Rangers points record in four games in a season (two goals, eight assists in the 2022/23 season).
