LA CROSSE, WI – Mark Cuban took aim at former President Trump as he warmed up the crowd at a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

“The Trump who stole Christmas,” Cuban accused while poking fun at the beloved holiday classic.

The billionaire businessman argued that the former president “wants you to have a lousy Christmas” because Trump’s proposed tariffs would increase the cost of some holiday gifts.

Cuban, the co-star of the popular, long-running business reality TV show “Shark Tank” and the former majority owner of professional basketball’s Dallas Mavericks, has been a highly visible surrogate for Harris since she replaced President Biden as the Democratic Party’s leader got ‘ticket for 2024 almost three months ago.

Now Cuban is setting out on behalf of the vice president – and targeting Trump over his proposed tariffs.

“This man has so little understanding of tariffs. He believes China is paying for it. “This is the same guy who thought Mexico would pay for the wall,” Cuban claimed.

Cuban’s two appearances with Harris on Thursday in battleground Wisconsin – at a business school course at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and at the rally in La Crosse – mark the start of a multi-day campaign swing through key battleground states that will likely decide the outcome will determine whether Harris or Trump wins the White House.

On Saturday, Cuban will hold a town hall meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, to discuss Harris’ newly announced “Opportunity Agenda” before traveling to Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Sunday to campaign alongside Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff.

The efforts by Cuban — a well-known figure in both the business and sports worlds — could give Harris a boost as she ramps up her efforts to woo younger male voters in a margin of error race against Trump.

Cuban’s campaign appearances on Thursday came as Trump’s most prominent billionaire supporter – Tesla CEO Elon Musk – campaigned on the former president’s behalf in arguably the most crucial of the seven battleground states – Pennsylvania.

Musk gave a speech at a town hall in suburban Philadelphia. This was the second in a series of events that helped Trump win Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes.

“I’m in Pennsylvania. And I’m here for the very important reason, you know… I can’t emphasize enough that Pennsylvania… is the fulcrum and in this election and in this election I believe it will “Decide the fate of America.” “, emphasized Musk.

Musk is not just campaigning in the name of Trump.

The person believed to be the richest person in the world has donated around $75 million to a super PAC supporting Trump, according to the latest filings from the Federal Election Commission.
