Those watching the game at home were fascinated by the thing, including baseball star Roger Clemens.

Clemens reacted to the shot at X with two words.

“My goodness,” he wrote.

Ohtani was 1 of 4 with three RBI and a strikeout. It was his second home run of the series.

“It’s definitely a blessing. “I can’t be grateful enough that I had the opportunity to play enough games to reach these numbers,” said Max Muncy, who hit another home run in the ninth.

DODGERS MANAGER PRAISES WALKER BUEHLER’S NLCS OUTING AFTER PREVIOUS BATTLES ON RETURN FROM SURGERY ON TOMMY JOHN

The Dodgers got the job done after four innings from Walker Buehler, who struck out six batters. Michael Kopech, Ryan Brasier, Blaker Treinen and Ben Casparius finished the final innings. For the second time in the series, Los Angeles shut out New York.

Los Angeles tagged Mets starter Luis Severino for two runs – neither earned – in 4 2/3 innings. Then the team hit Reed Garrett and Tylor Megill.

“We got beat 9-0 in the first game, then we came back and won Game 2. I don’t see why we can’t come back tomorrow and do that,” Garrett said after the game.
