Fox News host Bret Baier criticized for interrupting Kamala Harris during a heated interview

Fox News host Bret Baier was criticized for his attempts to talk about Kamala Harris during his interview with the presidential candidate on the conservative network.

The 27-minute interview included several heated exchanges between the Democratic candidate and Baier, who has worked for Fox since 1998.

The couple frequently talked over each other and Harris was much more animated during her media campaign than in other recent appearances.

Harris and Baier opened the conversation with a lively exchange about immigration. The vice president then asked Baier to focus the interview on a “full assessment of the facts.”

It was Harris’ first appearance on Fox and many praised Baier for his treatment of the vice president during the interview and praised Harris for how she handled the situation.

American businessman and TV personality Mark Cuban was full of praise for Harris and her performance. The 66-year-old wrote: “The nice thing about the @BretBaier interview is that @KamalaHarris understood and answered every question. She used examples of guidelines. It provided real context. When Brett came after her hard. She didn’t insult him. She didn’t stop the interview. She didn’t think of anything. Not once did she complain that the questions were difficult. She never played the victim card. She didn’t lose her temper. She did not allow herself to be drawn into belittling or belittling Trump supporters. She resisted him forcefully and never gave in.”

The author of If God is love, don’t be an idiot, John Pavlovitz added: “Bret Baier tries to talk about Kamala Harris, hoping to keep changing gears so she can’t state her position. She cuts through his bulls***. She is the leader we all deserve.”

Baier had previously rejected accusations from Trump supporters that the interview with Harris was being shortened to make her appear more positive.

The Fox News host took to X/Twitter on Monday night and Tuesday morning to reassure people that although the interview was pre-recorded, it would air live with minimal interruptions and Harris would not be asked any questions in advance. “Nobody.” has the questions. Except me,” he told an X user. When another person assumed that Baier “would pass the questions (Harris)” Baier rejected the lawsuit.
