The Los Angeles Dodgers entered raucous Citi Field on Wednesday night hoping to put their Game 2 disaster behind them. When the Dodgers took on Luis Severino and the New York Mets, they were able to change the history of the series once again, this time eliminating the Amazin’s for the second time in this NLCS.

Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman discuss Walker Buehler’s impressive four innings after his difficult NLDS start, Kiké Hernández’s return in October, and Shohei Ohtani’s majestic home run that helped close the door on the Mets and give the Dodgers a 2: 0 to give series leader. They also offer a preview of what to expect in Game 4 on Thursday night.

Additionally, on this episode of the Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake and Jordan discuss the New York Yankees’ Game 2 win that puts them 2-0 in the ALCS against the Cleveland Guardians. With the Bronx Bombers not playing their best ball right now, can the Guardians play like they did in the regular season to get back into this series?

The guys end the show by going around the league to talk about Rob Thomson’s contract extension by the Philadelphia Phillies, the Chicago White Sox and Minnesota Twins potentially being up for sale, and what the Tampa Bay Rays might do if Tropicana Field is not ready for the 2025 season after damage from Hurricane Milton.
