Kelly Clarkson teams up with Jelly Roll on “I Am Not Okay” — and hits a chilling note

It looks like Kelly Clarkson is adding another memorable performance to her “Kellyoke” catalog.

The pop icon teamed up with Grammy winner Jelly Roll to perform her hit “I Am Not Okay” on The Kelly Clarkson Show’s signature segment. A first look at the performance aired exclusively on TODAY, Oct. 16.

In the preview clip, the duo sings the song’s chorus together, while Clarkson shows off her golden vocals as she belts out, “I know I can’t be the only one holding on for dear life.”

They then take turns singing a few solo lines before Clarkson coolly concludes the duet. The audience gives Clarkson and Jelly Roll a thunderous applause as they hug and smile.

The full performance is scheduled to air on the Oct. 16 episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

“I Am Not Okay” from Jelly Roll’s 2024 album Beautifully Broken rose to No. 2 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart while also advancing to No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Jelly Roll stopped by “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

During her sound check, Clarkson shared how excited she was to play the track.

“This song is so good. “I’m so excited that he’s allowing me to sing along to his song ‘I Am Not Okay.’ And it’s so, so good,” she said.

“I’m just a big fan. I love authenticity and I love real messages. I think real s—- is really important,” she added.
