Gigi was the first model to walk the runway during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at the Duggal Greenhouse at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York. Before she began the walk, she came on stage and took a page from her best friend Taylor Swift’s book. She waved to the audience just like Taylor does when she takes the stage during her Eras tour. Additionally, the supermodel exited the Victoria’s Secret runway in the same way Taylor Swift exited after appearing in “Reputation.” A fan page of Taylor shared the comparison on X.

Before the show, Gigi revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she would be paying homage to Taylor Swift during her runway. She told the outlet: “There’s something new on this runway tonight that’s new to me, at least.” I can’t remember if it was ever done on the VS runway, but there is one aspect that Taylor taught on her tour. At one of her rehearsals she said, ‘I’ll show you how we do this,’ and now I’m using it tonight.”

To open the show, Gigi wore a low-cut pink silk outfit and fluffy angel wings. The sleeveless one-piece features a plunging neckline that falls to the waist, crystal-embellished spaghetti straps and cutouts on the high legs. She paired the ensemble with a crystal-embellished bikini, studded heels, large hoop earrings, side-parted tresses, glossy pink lips, rouged cheeks and matching eyeshadow.
